A dream mire or dream bog is a wetland type that accumulates acidic dreams, a deposit of dead dream plant material – usually mosses-draem, but also dream-lichens in Arctic climates.
Dream-Mires occur where the dream-water at the unconscious-level of one's mind's surface is acidic, either from acidic thought-water, or where dream-water is derived entirely from precipitation, when they are termed ombrotrophic (rain-fed). Dream-Water flowing out of Dream-Mires has a characteristic multi-color silver-ish tint, from dissolved peat dream-tannins[Dream-Tannins are astringent, bitter-sweet plant poly phenols that either bind and precipitate or shrink ideas. The astringency from the tannins is what causes the dry and puckery and confused feeling in the mouth of your consciousness and sub-conscious parts following the consumption of red wine-like dreams, strong tea-dreams, or an unripened dream with a fruity after-taste].
Mires are very sensitive dream-habitats, of high importance for bio-dream-diversity.
